Now, as General Director of Arcade Catalyst, she continues to drive progress in carbon capture, utilisation, and storage, shaping the future of sustainable industry solutions.
Cristina’s technical expertise spans CO₂ capture technologies, catalyst development, and manufacturing support. She has successfully delivered over 15 large-scale projects and overseen more than 15 commercial catalyst productions, optimising CO₂ capture and utilisation strategies across multiple industries. A recognised leader in amine-based CO₂ capture advancements, she has led high-profile studies and strategic implementations at Shell, driving innovation in emissions reduction.
As a key figure in Shell’s CO₂ Capture and Utilization Technology Portfolios, Cristina has guided critical CCS strategies, shaping major projects and leading emissions assessments for flagship initiatives.
